The Company:

With a number of successful businesses already in operation, the company have confidence that this brand has scalability and has fantastic potential for growth.   They have secured recent investment so are in a position to really move this business forward and are looking for a really strong operator and Operations Director to assist in this journey

The Role:

This position will effectively take operational ownership for the brand in its entirety, responsible for the day to day running of the restaurants as well as all new openings and managing the pipeline of new acquisitions as they arise.

You will have a team of Area Managers reporting to you and it will be your responsibility to build succession plans to support the future.   Your primary focus will be to ensure the brand is set for future growth so it will be your role to ensure the right systems and processes are in place to ensure that the business gets it right every time.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Drive, monitor and analyse sales performance and profitability, delivering and exceeding growth and annual targets
  • Ensure that all controllable costs are kept in line ensuring product quality and customer experience is not affected
  • Support and engage with other Directors in ensuring that the day-to-day running of the business is organised and structured to meet the business plan and objectives.
  • Ensure implementation of all restaurant operating standards with regard to people, product, service, systems and contractors.
  • Establish new trading opportunities that deliver financial upside to the business.


The Candidate

The successful candidate must have exposure to running a restaurant business that has seen growth.  You must be able to hit the ground running and adapt to the culture of the business quickly. Cultural fit is as important as skill set and a proven track record; this is an entrepreneurial business with a young and dynamic team.  They key competences are:


  • Experienced with a proven track record in multi-site restaurants
  • Exceptional people and motivational skills
  • Good marketing and branding experience
  • An extensive knowledge of food and menu development
  • Experience in establishing recruitment, training and leadership systems
  • Financially literate
  • Entrepreneurial flair and the capacity to drive and deliver new ideas
  • The ability to handle a complex and multi-faceted role
