The role

Reporting to the MD, you will head up this high volume, diverse catering operation. You will develop and deliver a strategy that positions the venue as a quality focused, family orientated leisure destination. With a commercial outlook you will ensure excellent operational standards across the site, maximising sales and profitability.

You will build and maintain a high performing, highly motivated team of Event Catering professional with great service and product quality at the heart of what they do. As well as managing the large and diverse internal team, you will oversee and manage sub-contracted caterers and external supplier relationships.  Working collaboratively with other departments across the operation will be vital to the success of the catering operation.

The role is a mix of both operations and strategy and you will have an innovative approach, focused on enhancing commercial opportunities and offering products that are in line with consumer trends and expectations.

 

The person

You will have a clear track record of experience within the world of event catering.

You’ll be highly self-motivated and your passion for excellence will be clear.

An established leader, you’ll have built and led large and successful teams across a high volume catering operation.

You’ll have great knowledge of health and safety, possess a food safety certificate and be a personal licence holder.

You will have a high degree of financial acumen and will clearly demonstrate successful P&L management in previous roles.
