The Client

My client has a collection of luxury event venues based in Central London and is looking for a charismatic, hands-on and logistically minded Operations Manager to lead the operations team and deliver world-class events across the three venues.


The Opportunity

To ensure the commercial and operational success of all onsite events. The role combines a balance of 30% office related administrative tasks and 70% event presence. This will likely scale in the opposite manner gradually as progression in the role takes place


Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting into the General Manager, you would be responsible for the smooth running of all events
  • Full P&L ownership – you’ll have a creative flair for cost control without compromising the amazing product
  • To line manage your team in a style that supports and develops, whilst getting best performance
  • Lots of planning, logistics, scheduling, systems, stock checks – ensuring everything runs like clockwork will be key!
  • Ensuring that Health & Safety measurements, requirements and reporting are in place for all events.


The Candidate

  • You will have previous events operational experience, working in a high volume luxury hotel or venue in C&B operations.
  • You’ll will be logistically minded and calm under pressure. Attention to detail and organisation is key to this role.
  • An inspiring leader who leads by example, with the ability to manage a team and delegate responsibility whilst being hands-on.
  • Immaculately presented with strong interpersonal and guest relations skills.
