The Role
The Cornish bakery has a strong market position with great locations, great product, and great teams. It will continue to go from strength to strength with growth from new store openings, franchise relationships, product innovation and operational and service excellence.
This ongoing journey will be led by a Head of Commercial Operations. Key attributes for the role include operational and strategic expertise, great relationship building and communication skills but most important of all, exceptional leadership ability and behaviours.
The Head of Commercial Operations will;
- Have a strong connection with the brands purpose and core values
- Engage, lead and develop a growing team of 5 Area Managers and one product manager ensuring they themselves nurture and lead their teams of bakery managers
- Instil leadership behaviours that will cultivate culture, resulting in each and every bakery being a great environment in which to work and a great environment to experience as a customer
- Analyse and manage business performance and react where necessary to ensure success
- Identify opportunities for new products and have great knowledge of market trends and competitors
– Instrumental in bringing new ideas to market and overseeing the project plan and measurement guidelines of all new products
– Responsibility for the production and delivery of the in store marketing strategy and control of the associated costs - Through the implementation of clear policies and procedures, deliver the highest standards of health, safety and hygiene
- Alongside management of the day to day operation and delivering commercial success across the existing estate, work closely with the founder on a strategy for new site openings and also work with new and existing franchisees.
The Person
An inspirational leader you will demonstrate past success of building and engaging high performing teams in a quality focused, customer centric environment.
Your experience at Regional Director, Head of Operations, Head of Commercial level or equivalent will be within the hospitality or QSR space.
You will ideally be SW based as the support office for the role is in Bristol.
Site locations are spread and you must also therefore be prepared to undertake a significant amount of travel throughout the working week.
Remuneration
An attractive remuneration package is available depending on experience.
