Overview of The Role
My client is a cool, emerging brand in the London restaurant scene.

In order to support their exciting future strategic growth plans, my client is planning to appoint a new Operations Manager.

This role will closely support the business founders/senior management in driving the business forward commercially, strengthening all aspects of their operational proposition and delivering the brand’s expansion ambitions for the business into 2019 and beyond.

The role will assume full responsibility for optimising the operational and financial performance of existing site/s, whilst overseeing and improving all H&S and compliance processes, HR procedures and team development, as well as driving service innovation, standards and furthering customer relationships.

This role’s scope for development and progression is exciting and the new Operations Manager will be responsible for delivering short, medium and long term strategies to mitigate challenges and ensure the business’ full commercial potential is realised.

The role will also be responsible for succession-planning and coaching site management to support group growth.
The Candidate
You will ideally have no more than 2 years excellent multi-site managerial experience (either as a multi-site GM or Operations Manager) in both dynamic, emerging food-concepts and/or the more structured, quality branded-sector.

You will have an entrepreneurial spirit, bringing a real sense of ownership and passion to the role.

Candidates with marketing and PR skills and experience are a bonus.

As an operator, you will bring pace, leadership and excellent structure to the business. You will elevate the service and drive product knowledge, expertise and development across the on-site team.

You will introduce fresh ideas and provide wider industry perspective into the business, whilst working proactively, collaboratively and with integrity at all times.
