The Role

Seeking an Operations Director to work in partnership with the Owner/Founder to take the business to the next level and be an integral part of shaping the brand for the future. A small premium business that is looking for Private Equity and you will be part of defining the future direction and growth strategy with a very exciting future ahead.

The Operations Director will be responsible for the day to day operations, leading and inspiring a team of Managers at varying levels to deliver exceptional results.

You must be a natural inspirer of people and a motivator, a real team builder and someone who is able to build strong respectful relationships with people who have been in the business a long time.

 

The Candidate

The successful candidate will have exposure to running and developing a quality restaurant operation. You must be able to hit the ground running and adapt to the culture of the business quickly. This is an entrepreneurial business with a team who require leadership and structure in order to maximise the business potential.

They key competences are:

• Experienced with a proven track record in multi-site management at this level
• Exceptional people and motivational skills
• Good marketing and branding experience
• Have a knowledge of industry trends and understand the demands of the casual dining market
• Experience in establishing recruitment, training and succession plans
• Financially astute
• Entrepreneurial flair and the capacity to drive and deliver new ideas
• The ability to handle a complex and multi-faceted role
• Ideally have a combination of branded and independent restaurants but this is open for discussion,
