My client is looking for an experienced Head of Learning and Development for this exciting hospitality company with sites throughout the UK. My client has recently restructured and is looking for someone to lead the learning and development function and as Head of Learning and Development take things to the next stage. As Head of Learning and Development you will work with the senior team to develop a L and D strategy to build the knowledge in the business. You will have 8 direct reports and head up a team of 15 within the L and D function.

 

The ideal candidate as Head of Learning and Development:

  • Worked in a Senior L and D role and been part of the senior management team.
  • Good experience in developing and creating training plans.
  • Ideally have hands on operational experience
  • A real passion for developing talent
  • Good financial knowledge and previously managed a budget
  • Previously written and developed all training initiatives and online platforms
  • Previously managed performance and ER issues
  • Great communicator both internally and externally at all levels
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship schemes
  • Experience in delivering training at all levels
  • Worked within leisure, hospitality, retail or catering
