I am working with a superb business with an excellent employer brand; this business has a great reputation for delivering service and wonderful food across the contract catering industry.

The Managing Director is now looking for a Head of People to grow alongside the business as the company’s recent steep trajectory of growth looks set to continue and the people strategy and employer brand sits at the heart of this company’s award winning success. Currently employing 1000 people across a number of regional business areas, we should see the business grow by 25% as part of the next phase of the company plan. To support this there are a whole host of pioneering ‘people’ initiatives that this company has bedded into the business alongside its established vision and values and you will be expected to continue to focus on more ways to strengthen the core and brand of this people business.

In this role you will be the lead HR practitioner reporting directly into the MD and responsible for all aspects of HR, Training and Development. This role provides guidance and support at all levels and you will be a key influencer in the company’s overall strategic business plan working closely with both operational and marketing teams to make sure a consistent and coherent brand message is understood at unit level and that all six regional centres of excellence are showcasing the company values effectively. Whilst you do not need to be fully CIPD qualified you will have a level of qualification to take on this role and lead a team of three. In addition experience of TUPE would be a distinct advantage or, if not, a thorough understanding of what it entails.

This company is Hampshire based and therefore if you are based in Surrey, Middlesex, Berkshire then these locations are all do-able. You will be in the office certainly three days a week with your team and perhaps field based for the rest of the time
