The Company:

My client is brand new player in the London Boutique Hotel Market and has a cluster of gorgeous and well-loved properties in and around Kensington. They need a boutique hotel specialist to join as Cluster DOS and reintroduce these gems to their national and international (US) clientele. This Cluster DOS will work closely with the Cluster GM on Sales & Marketing Strategy for rooms and F&B as well as be very hands on in terms of sales execution.

The Role:

The Cluster Director of Sales will:

  • Naturally build relationships with local businesses and associations, becoming ingrained in the community
  • Create marketing partnerships that increase visibility and add value to F&B outlets
  • Quickly identify existing accounts and create structured account plans to manage them upwards.
  • Identify and attract new business from untapped markets to increase occupancy without sacrificing rate integrity
  • Organize and host FAM trips
  • Organize and manage national/international  sales missions
  • Complete weekly reporting into the Cluster GM

The Candidate: The successful Cluster Director of Sales:

  • Have worked in a similar role at a 4* or 5* property, preferably within London
  • Have a strong background of leisure and corporate sales
  • Be a team player and have high communication/persuasion skills
  • Be extremely organised- and have a “completer” work style
  • Posses impeccable personal styling and professional demeanour
