The Company:

A genuinely exciting opportunity to join this soon-to-be-rebranded luxuriously cool hotel! My client is currently investing into the property to create an uplifting destination hotel in the capital’s financial district for the well heeled youthful at heart. Therefore, they require a proven sales leader taking strategic responsibility for the property sales team along with personally managing key consortia business. The right candidate will “get” lifestyle brands, be a fantastic talent developer and have ambition and a genuine desire to help create a truly unique brand. Career springboard stuff!

The Role: This Director of Sales will have total responsibility for the development and success of the property sales team and for the execution of specific projects/campaigns relating to consortia business.

  • Work closely with the GM developing and delivering on sales strategy and budgets
  • Liaise with Revenue to lead the rate strategy
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly reporting requirements to GM with agreed information
  • Monitor Sales Manager KPI’s, activities & actions to drive & develop team performance
  • Support the sales management and business development from Hotel Sales

The Candidate: The successful Director of Sales candidate will have property ADOS or DOS level London hotel sales experience preferably within the lifestyle sector. He/she will have a successful track record of driving sales and leading growth while also personally generating business from the consortia market.

  • Have well honed and recognised team management skills- a natural leader
  • Have experience in hotel sales and revenue from the within the London market
  • Be goal orientated and market aware in order to stay ahead of competition
  • Be accountable for both personal targets and that of team
  • Have high communication skills and a calm manner
  • Possess impeccable personal styling
  • Have a genuine love of hospitality!
