The Company

My client is a global luxury retail icon and is looking for an HR & Talent Business Partner from within luxury hospitality (restaurants/hotels/retail) to join their Head Office team. This role plays a pivotal part in the development and practice of their attraction and retention strategy across the UK, Ireland & South Africa. Must be a genuine, effective, organised, multi-culturally sensitive and career minded personality. Preciousness will not be tolerated.

The Role

This HR & Talent Business Partner will lead the recruitment & development strategy- both internally & externally- to attract into and keep only the very best people. Reporting into The Human Resources Director.

  • Provide creative, effective and workable recruitment strategies for external candidate attraction- standardise the candidate experience
  • Develop and teach succession planning strategies/techniques to retain employees for the long term.
  • Manage the recruitment and training budget
  • Lead the team to think and act creatively when attracting and keeping talent
  • Become an ambassador for the brand within the wider HR sphere of the region.
  • Support and contribute to the development of social media recruitment strategy
  • Have fun!

The Candidate

  • The successful candidate will come from a luxury retail and/or hospitality background and have experience recruiting high volume/ high calibre talented individuals. He/she will be a Resourcing and Training specialist and have a natural and unpretentious attitude to work.
  • Have Recruitment/Resourcing Manager experience in luxury retail and/or high end hospitality
  • Be a stickler for detail
  • Possess high communication skills: both verbal and written
  • Have a proven track record of helping deliver sustainable HR strategies to big teams/operations
  • Motivate positively and teach big picture internally as well as create positive HR PR externally
  • CIPD qualified advantageous but not essential
