They’re in full growth mode following a successful navigation through the past few years and looking for an ambitious Head of Event Sales to join the thriving team.

The Role

As Head of Event Sales, you will be managing and motivating a team to exceed achievable targets by selling and delivering amazing events throughout the UK and Europe.  Your team will handle the high volume of enquiries coming through, hosting site visits and tastings, through to handing them over to the operations team.

• Respond to enquiries in an efficient and timely manner with bespoke proposals and quotes
• Negotiate contract terms with clients
• Host promotional events and attend networking/exhibitions
• Account manage and relationship building to grow accounts organically
• Pitch for new business and venue listings

The Candidate

The successful candidate will have strong influencing and closing skills and a track record of achieving sales in excess of £500k per annum. You will make a positive first impression and will have excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to nurture relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders both internally and externally.

• The successful candidate is likely to have at least 5 years’ experience in catering sales, event venue sales or relevant event industry sales experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills both face-to-face and over the phone
• Strong influencing and negotiating skills
• Proven ability to lead and nurture a team of sales people
