Having steadily grown over the years , this gorgeous brand now operates sites all over the UK, and have big plans to continue growing and evolving their concept, so are looking for an exceptional IT Director to join the team.

The Opportunity

We are looking for somebody who has experience of running an IT function within a retail of hospitality business, managing external partners and internal teams, you’ll be a great communicator, who loves being in sites talking to our teams. Ideally, you’ll have experience of setting up and managing an entire IT infrastructure and be well versed with the current software and hardware solutions available to a retail or QSR business for the entire customer journey from digital attraction through the ordering journeys. You’ll thrive working in an agile environment and be excited by the prospect of building a best-in-class IT infrastructure.

The Candidate

  • Strong evidence of leading teams in a Director of IT or Head of IT role (or similar), ideally in a multi-site retail or hospitality environment
  • Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of IT Service Management principles
  • Experience of assessing and identifying IT solutions in an entrepreneurial and fast moving environment
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills – an ability to articulate in an engaging way, whether that’s with the Management Board, Store Teams or external suppliers
  • Adaptability of style to “bring people with them” – whether or not they’re technically minded!
  • Developing great relationships: across the Group and with external suppliers and stakeholders Business partnering – across a range of teams within the business
  • Ability to influence others
  • Analytical mindset
  • An ability to understand and manage detail whilst maintaining oversight of departmental priorities and a focus on the Group’s wider business objectives
  • Financial skills including budgeting, forecasting, and justifying
  • Track record of translating business requirements into technical solutions
  • Contracts and price negotiation
  • Inquisitive and curious
  • Working knowledge of project management principles
  • Solid and respected background in IT – you know your stuff and have strong credentials!

After toying with becoming an actress, I found my home in hospitality around 22 years ago. I worked as an operator with Tootsies in London. I fell into hospitality recruitment working across branded restaurants, before heading up 5 national recruitment offices.
