The Role
We are looking for a hands on, high performing General Manager to lead this new opening and help shape its success from day one. Reporting into the founders, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational departments, ensuring a consistently high level of service and building a culture that brings the club’s values to life.
This role requires a strong presence on the floor, a deep understanding of premium hospitality and the ability to balance commercial acumen with genuine care for your team and members.
Key responsibilities include
- Leading, motivating and developing a multidisciplinary team across food and beverage, wellness and member services
- Creating a culture of quality, attention to detail and warmth in every guest interaction
- Managing day to day operations to ensure smooth delivery across all touchpoints
- Overseeing budgets, forecasting and reporting to drive performance and profitability
- Working with the marketing and membership teams to support engagement and retention
- Acting as the face of the club, building relationships, being visible and setting the tone
- Listening to feedback and continuously improving the member experience
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety and regulatory requirements
The Candidate
You are a proven leader from a high end hospitality background, someone who not only understands what luxury feels like but knows how to deliver it across a dynamic, multifaceted operation. You may come from a luxury hotel, resort, private members club or premium lifestyle brand but wherever you have been, you have combined commercial know-how with operational excellence and a highly personal approach to service.
This is a role for someone who thrives on the floor, is energised by variety and knows how to bring teams together to deliver a seamless experience across wellness, food and beverage, events and member services.
We are looking for someone who is
- Experienced at general manager or senior level within luxury or lifestyle led, multi outlet operations
- Comfortable managing complexity, from high touch service to back of house logistics
- Commercially astute, with a strong grasp of budgets, forecasting and performance metrics
- Emotionally intelligent and confident leading diverse, multidisciplinary teams
- Present and hands on, visible in the operation and naturally at ease engaging with members
- Calm under pressure, solutions focused and able to adapt to changing priorities
- Passionate about creating environments where people feel inspired, connected and cared for
