The Company
My client is a substantial and growing operator in the UK hospitality sector, operating over 200 sites in England and Wales across three distinct but complementary brands, this group is now the only growing all-day operator of scale in the UK, and as such are looking for an experienced Head of Development to join their busy property team.
The Role
The main purpose of the role is the feasibility assessment of new sites for the business. Specifically, this means taking the lead on the design evolution and development of sites from concept assessment, through design to the physical build stage. Working closely with the Acquisitions Team to assess the suitability and future potential of a new site acquisition, both from a build and design perspective but also from a cost, compliance, and commerciality point of view. This will require close Interaction throughout the process with key internal and external stakeholders, including, Landlords and their Development Teams, Contractors, Architects and Project Managers to create robust plans and specifications, before delivering a thorough handover to our Build teams to execute the concept in line with the pipeline plan.
The Candidate
We are looking for an experienced Property professional who has worked in a similar role within the retail or hospitality sector.
An individual with a good understanding of Acquisitions, Construction and project management. You must be a strong and confident communicator at all levels with the ability to make things happen.
