As they continue to expand and diversify, they’re seeking a talented individual to join their team as Head of Events & Partnerships.

The Role

As Head of Events & Partnerships, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client’s events division and fostering strategic partnerships. Reporting directly to the Account Director and collaborating closely with the Business Development Director, you’ll lead a passionate team to deliver memorable events and cultivate long-term relationships with clients and partners.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and inspiring a team of event professionals to deliver exceptional service and exceed client expectations
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to drive event sales and revenue growth
  • Identifying and cultivating partnerships with key stakeholders to enhance our client’s brand presence and expand their network
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless event execution and alignment with company objectives
  • Overseeing event budgets, financial planning, and performance metrics to achieve targets and maximize profitability
  • Representing the company at industry events, networking functions, and client engagements to promote their services and build relationships
  • Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices to innovate and enhance our client’s event offerings

The Candidate

We’re seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual with a proven track record in event management and partnership development. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Several years of experience in event management, preferably in the hospitality or related industry
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team to achieve excellence
  • Proven track record in driving event sales and exceeding revenue targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute plans to achieve business objectives
  • Financial acumen and proficiency in budget management
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and delivering memorable events
  • Degree or equivalent experience in event management, hospitality, or related field

Account Director

I’ve had a pretty colourful career pre-Troika – I’ve been a bell boy, a waiter, sold Faberge Eggs and electricity door-to-door, ran an Irish Pub in Uganda, a busy events department in Covent Garden, designed stands for a TV Festival, helped open a members club and ran a little events business of my own.
