This is a really exciting opportunity to become the Head of People for a fast-growing and hugely dynamic restaurant group. The brand is fun, forward-thinking, and has an outstanding reputation in the marketplace. They have a strong people culture and want to enhance this even further with the appointment of a Head of People.

The Role

As Head of People, this is an amazing opportunity to join a business where you will be responsible for all things people. This is an all-encompassing role where you will lead recruitment and candidate attraction, inductions, and on-boarding, support the business with internal talent plans and support those with learning and development programmes to get people to the right level.

This is a small, and inclusive business so you will report to the Operations Director and work alongside the ops team to really build skill and capability levels and give people career opportunities. This is a brand in growth so formulating strong succession plans is key to successful openings with teams who know the business and are loyal to the brand. Your role will be working with the business to identify talent and use your L&D team to support the development of those individuals.

The Candidate

The successful Head of People will need to have a successful track record of leading a people strategy at this level. The ideal candidate will ideally come with a strong people culture and be comfortable setting a people agenda and rolling that out across a business with the buy-in of the team.

You must be a proven HR specialist and a good all-rounder ideally with exposure to L&D, recruitment, and ER. You must naturally be comfortable multi-tasking and work in a fast-paced environment.

You must be emotionally resilient and able to respond to the pace of a PE backed environment but execute with a strong focus on people and guests and not lose sight of the core values
