The Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate strong relationships with local authorities, governing bodies, and emergency services to stay ahead of industry trends.
• Collaborate with IT and systems teams to combat cyber threats and ensure surveillance measures are up to par.
• Perform risk analyses to pinpoint and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities across the venue.

The Candidate

Qualifications & Experience:

• A strong background in security management or law enforcement at a senior level, particularly within high-stakes environments.
• In-depth knowledge of public safety and security practices, especially in large-scale event settings.
• Proven experience managing security for major public events, demonstrating an ability to thrive under pressure.
• Familiarity with safety regulations, including the Green and Purple Guides and Safety of Sports Ground Legislation.
• Relevant Health and Safety qualifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, NVQ4 Spectator Safety).
• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team towards excellence.
• Experience liaising with police and security agencies to implement effective crime prevention strategies.
