The Candidate
This is an incredible opportunity for a dynamic Managing Director with unquestionable people-first values and dreams to win big, whilst bringing all the teams on the journey.
Reporting into the Founder, you will lead a high performing functional team, comprising of Operations Director, People Director and Finance Director, but in this non-hierachical business, will remain close to the detail, as happy boots on the ground with the teams as you are in the boardroom building strategy and future focus.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a rounded commercial business leader, a forward thinking Managing Director who is pro-active and motivated by identifying and maximising opportunities
• Experience at MD or COO level in a premium hospitality or retail business will be essential, and experience of scaling a brand, highly desirable
• Demonstrable success in negotiating site acquisitions and working with landlords, external bodies and agents, cultivating relationships and agreements that serve the best interest of the company and that deliver and exceed ROI
• An authentic and highly collaborative people first leader, driven by commercial success, but with high EI and drive to deliver through people and culture
• Forward thinking, ambitious and pro-active when it comes to identifying and maximizing on opportunities for growth
• A creator and implementer of bold and brave strategy
• Customer focused and keen to understand and exceed customer expectations
• Highly adaptive and capable of working at pace whilst aligning decision with key business objectives and long term goals
