The Company
Truman’s Social Club is a beerhall event and cultural destination with a capacity of 1,000+ based in a 23,000 sq ft warehouse off Blackhorse Lane in East London.
TSC serves a great range of local craft beer and food while putting on a constant schedule of events including live music, markets, comedy shows, live conferences, sport, workshops, and much more. Despite having only been open for six months, it already welcomes thousands through the door each week.
The ambition for TSC is to be one of London’s leading venues, based at the heart of its East London community, offering a platform for local creatives as well as those from much further afield, and most importantly to be an amazing place to escape for a great time.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take the reins of a unique venue that is getting a lot of attention; an opportunity to further establish and strengthen its position in the local and wider London market.
As well as the Social Club venue, this role will manage two other smaller sites – The Newman Arms, a historic central London pub, and Truman’s coffee shop & bar in London City airport.
The MD will report to the Board and will manage an operational and functional team including finance, marketing, and HR.
