A growing premium contemporary restaurant group are looking for a dynamic General Manager to open their new restaurant in the diverse and historic city centre of Oxford. This is an exciting opportunity to open their first fabulous Southern site. Their classic and contemporary Italian menu takes fresh, carefully selected, simple ingredients to create the best tasting food around.
The Role
They are looking for a New Opening General Manager to take full responsibility for the launch of the restaurant and to build a safe, growing, sustainable and profitable business by recruiting, developing, managing and leading a team of customer focussed and dedicated individuals within this high profile site.
The Candidate
As the New Opening General Manager, you would have worked in a similarly large, premium quality restaurant, you will be a highly detail-orientated manager who understands the importance of a smooth operation. You will be a strong, motivated leader with a passion for food and customer service.
- You will ensure that all team members are fully trained to deliver excellent food, service and standards
- You will provide the team with the correct tools to deliver great food, service and standards, ensuring every shift runs smoothly and successfully
- You will ensure all customer complaints are well recovered, showing care and generosity
- You will take ownership of every customer experience in your restaurant, ensuring you and the team care for each customer and exceed their expectations
