Originally from NZ, I moved to London in 1997 with no real plans other than to travel & gobble up as many cultural & culinary experiences as possible! My UK career soon led me into a number of exciting positions spanning operations, events, business development.

These experiences have provided me with a huge appreciation of the wonderful, creative people that fuel this vibrant industry. Having known Troika for most of my career in the UK, I was excited to join the team in 2017 and have loved every minute I have spent recruiting for the industry I absolutely love – it is my most rewarding role yet!

After toying with becoming an actress, I found my home in hospitality around 22 years ago. I worked as an operator with Tootsies in London. I fell into hospitality recruitment working across branded restaurants, before heading up 5 national recruitment offices.

After a 2 year stint in executive search, I went in-house leading recruitment and development functions within Giraffe, LEON and most recently Gail’s. I have known Troika for many years and have always loved the expertise and warmth of all the team, I also have a huge love of food/drink and people…so a perfect combination.

I’ve had a pretty colourful career pre-Troika – I’ve been a bell boy, a waiter, sold Faberge Eggs and electricity door-to-door, ran an Irish Pub in Uganda, a busy events department in Covent Garden, designed stands for a TV Festival, helped open a members club and ran a little events business of my own.

As a candidate, Troika were my go-to recruiters so there was no other place I wanted to be when I decided on my new career path. I’m delighted to be working with such an amazing team and am passionate about matching the brightest talent to their perfect role.

I started my career as a KP and straight away I knew hospitality was the one. After 14 years in central London ops, recruitment is where I found my true passion – supporting and guiding the best businesses and candidates in our wonderful industry. I spent the last two years as a Consultant for a well known restaurant group, building the teams in existing sites as well as their new openings. I specialise in both BOH and FOH recruitment for the premium and super premium sectors.

My education at a Swiss Hotel Management school introduced me to the essence of five-star service, and that commitment has shaped my career in both hotel and hospitality recruitment.

While studying Fashion Design at university, I threw myself into hospitality to stay afloat. Starting at Everyman Cinema in Hampstead, I quickly adapted to London’s fast pace and loved every minute. Fashion wasn’t my destiny, so I progressed in casual dining, eventually becoming a General Manager with extensive industry knowledge.

At Dishoom, I spent nearly six years shaping in-house recruitment, which led me to a career in recruitment. Leading global recruitment at Chotto Matte deepened my understanding of international operations and led to a new opening in San Francisco.

Now, I enjoy working with various brands at Troika.

I grew up in Southern California and connected early to the joy of hospitality, working at Disneyland for two years. In 2013, I moved to London to complete my master’s degree and quickly immersed myself in the city’s hospitality scene.

I spent over a decade with the Ottolenghi Group, learning about what makes this industry special. As I moved through various roles, I developed a deep understanding of the people, creativity, and energy driving the sector. Joining Troika felt like a natural next step, and I love my role supporting my amazing colleagues in uncovering talent and connecting them with great opportunities.
