Following their record-breaking entrance into the UK my client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Property Director to lead their real estate expansion. With a current estate of over 40 stores and have a healthy pipeline to deliver 25+ stores each year going forward, we need a Property Director with experience of working at pace and scale.
The Role
As Property Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the property portfolio for the UK estate. Key Responsibilities:#
- This pivotal role involves strategic planning, managing the whole sphere of construction from contractors, budgets and timeframes and communicating this to the internal stakeholders.
- Site Selection and Due Diligence: Work alongside the acquisitions team to conduct due diligence on potential locations, ensuring they meet brand standards and legal requirements.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the property acquisition budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial targets.
- Stakeholder Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with landlords, property developers, and real estate brokers, representing the brand professionally in negotiations and interactions.
- Compliance and Legal Oversight: Ensure all property transactions comply with local laws, permitting requirements, and other relevant regulations, working closely with legal counsel to navigate complex real estate issues.
- Construction and Development Coordination: Collaborate with the operations team and construction partners to facilitate the development and renovation of new and existing sites.
