The Opportunity
As Retail Director you will be responsible for overseeing this multi-faceted retail operation and will embed world class operational practices as well as innovative product range and store design.
You will create and execute a comprehensive strategy, will identify market trends and consumer preferences and have a strong understanding of the competitive landscape.
Through your strategy you will drive sales, customer experience and profitability.
You will lead and manage a senior leadership team responsible for buying, stock planning, pricing and operations and you will ensure this team operates at pace and is led by data and insight, working collaboratively and delivering innovation and excellence.
Through your team you will drive fundamental change across the organisation around ways of working, process improvement, technological solutions, and efficiencies.
You’ll create a culture of creativity and will lead by providing clear direction and setting stretching yet realistic performance expectations.
The Candidate
A naturally inspirational leader and motivator, you will demonstrate a progressive leadership career in the retail sector, and possess a strong understanding of best practice, market trends and consumer behaviour.
You’ll have a proven track record of delivering sales and profit growth, and an analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data to drive insights and make informed business decisions.
You’ll have a proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives on a national scale, with high level organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
