The Company

This company is on a mission to feed the UK’s spirit through the magical medium of chicken. Recently rebranded and with big investors supporting their growth, this brand is already opening new sites and expanding exponentially in the UK, as well as into Europe in the next few years. They are on the hunt for a commercial Head of Sales Marketing who wants to work for a fast growing, dynamic hospitality brand which is constantly exploring new opportunities for excellence.

The Role

We are looking for a Head of Sales Marketing to disrupt the UK fried chicken market who will be accountable for our sales and marketing strategy across all our channels to deliver our ambitious sales growth targets, and own our brand positioning as we rapidly grow our presence in the UK and overseas. This is less about creating a brand as this is already strong, it’s more about getting the word out to the masses. Our channels are simple:

  • Our restaurants are where our customers are every day, they have to be on point with the brand to deliver on our seasonal campaigns
  • Social is where our new customers see us first, you’ll be conveying our brand in a way that makes us the only place gen Z want to go to for chicken. This is supported by our overall digital presence where you will optimise customer discovery including our website and search presence
  • Our loyalty programme rewards our superfans, you’ll make them feel valued to keep them coming back for more and making them advocates of the brand
  • Delivery is where 40% of our customer experience us, you’ll be working with our partners to grow this super exciting channel
  • New restaurants open in new territories, you’ll be accountable for creating plans to drive customers in to try us and become regulars from day 1

The Candidate

We are looking for a candidate that enjoys working like an entrepreneur; proactive, people focussed, commercial and relentless in living and breathing our business and its values. At our core is our people and it is expected that the right candidate will be able to naturally inspire with their own passion and determination.

This is less about creating a brand as this is already strong, it’s more about getting the word out to the masses. You will have a strong commercial edge and demonstrable experience of leading and engaging a team are a must. Strong leadership and communication skills are key, with the ability to influence and gain buy-in from multiple stakeholders and thrive in a start-up environment. You will need to show the ability to truly own and be fully responsible for all things marketing, whilst having the humility to seek help from all around, when necessary.

You will…

  • Have an in-house team for social media and customer acquisition
  • Collaborate with account managers at the delivery aggregators to maximise value from their annual marketing programmes
  • Own our website and app content (supported by IT for architecture)
  • Engage key creative partners to support the execution of exciting multi-channel campaigns to attract new customers and ensure our existing fans feel the love!
  • Engage the restaurant teams on the launch of exciting campaigns, and regular customer feedback
  • Be part of the senior team, guiding our sales growth strategy



I started my career working for a catering company at The NEC and was instantly hooked to the world of hospitality. Since then, I have worked in bars, different venues, and run events around the world.
