The Company
Born in lockdown 2020. This concept was an instant hit, and from a local home delivery service, a thriving business was born.
With secured investment and incredibly ambitious plans for growth. The customer demand for the product is matched by the outstanding early-stage financial performance and as such, the business is confident about its future.
One of the biggest challenges in scaling the business is building incredible teams and setting a strong culture. A key hire in this journey is the appointment of a People Director, a self-motivated expert that can work within a start-up environment, creating a robust people strategy fit for scale. This person must be able to be hands-on enough to set things during these early stages of rapid growth but with the strategic stretch to take the brand globally.
The Role
With full accountability for the overall people strategy and building a rich special people culture, we are looking for a driven and engaging People expert who brings a wealth of knowledge to the table, able to be self-sufficient yet collaborative in style. A people Director who can drive the overall People Strategy defining and developing a strong people culture, as they embark on a significant and exciting, period of growth…. always keeping people at the heart of everything they do.
It is imperative this person fully aligns themselves to the operation, leading and developing the culture and values, whilst maintaining and nurturing the special simplicity (and brilliance) of this concept. Whilst HR compliance is essential, building culture and ensuring the team feel valued is of the utmost importance right from the start.
The Candidate
You will be someone who is fanatical about people, with an inbuilt moral compass of always doing the right thing and encouraging for others to do the same. You are firm but kind and will always deliver results in a way that inspires and includes those around you.

Account Director
After toying with becoming an actress, I found my home in hospitality around 22 years ago. I worked as an operator with Tootsies in London. I fell into hospitality recruitment working across branded restaurants, before heading up 5 national recruitment offices.
After a 2 year stint in executive search, I went in-house leading recruitment and development functions within Giraffe, LEON and most recently Gail’s. I have known Troika for many years and have always loved the expertise and warmth of all the team, I also have a huge love of food/drink and people…so a perfect combination.
