The Company

We are looking for a dream team duo (GM and AGM) for a super-exciting new venue opening in 2024! We need a commercially minded, highly ambitious GM and AGM to join and lead the new openings team for this site. Our client is an iconic high street brand who will be reaching new heights in 2024 as they open their largest site in the heart of central London in February. We are looking for candidates who thrive in high-volume, fast paced environments and who would love to be the part of a new adventure.

The site will be located by one of London’s biggest tourist hotspots, providing beautiful fresh food and stunning interior to the constantly busy area, all supported with a high level of investment to put this brand back on the map.

The Role

  • The General Manager will have ultimate responsibility of the site, with the Assistant General Manager supporting on all the below aspects.
  • Carry out team meetings to ensure everyone is motivated and enjoying a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure adherence to food and service procedures in order to protect the company brand.
  • Work in unison with the Head Chef to ensure a high standard of kitchen operation and consistently high-quality food product is served.
  • Accurately report all financial information according to deadlines, actively seeking to interpret and offer analysis of the figures with resolutions.
  • Actively drive sales and footfall through effective implementation of all company wide and local sales & marketing initiatives.

The Candidate

  • Proven management experience in a casual dining, branded, establishment
  • Demonstrate ability to both analyse and influence financial targets
  • Ability to influence and ensure consistent delivery of all company brand standards
  • People management skills with proven record of team development, retention and engagement
  • Confident in the use of Access Maintain, Fourth WFM, Scheduling and Inventory, HGEM, Microsoft and EPOS software/hardware
