The Company
This founder-led business is making waves in the casual dining sector for its offer of high quality, authentic street food in beautiful surroundings. The brand now requires a Head of Marketing to lead on developing and implementing a creative marketing strategy as it goes through national expansion. Reporting into the Founder, this hybrid role requires you to be at their office in Liverpool three days a week, with the rest of the time at home or in the sites as required.
The Role
The company needs an experienced foodie marketer with experience in developing and implementing a creative strategy through PR, events, brand campaigns and promotions. You will also:
- Manage a team of two, Communications Manager and Charity Coordinator, and be prepared to recruit and grow your team as the business grows
- Develop a long-term plan for the evolution of the brand
- Collaborate effectively with the other teams to ensure the marketing strategy is aligned with the overall business strategy
- Develop and manage marketing budgets
- Ensure buy-in from all stakeholders through effective communication with the Senior Leadership Team
- Coordinate all media contacts and ensure that the company consistently gets exposure and digital coverage
The Candidate
The brand is looking for a marketer who has experience in working in a founder-led business with a strong hospitality marketing background. You will be creative, innovative and agile, with a real passion for staying up to date with new trends in the hospitality sector.
- Extensive experience of having worked as Head of Marketing or Marketing Manager within a founder led business
- Experience in delivering a robust and effective marketing strategy
- Demonstrable track record in delivering strong customer engagement and building audiences across all platforms
- Strong commercial acumen
- An excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data and intuition to inform all decisions
