This exciting brand is going from strength to strength and has serious plans of expansion right across the UK, so a strong talent strategy along with a big focus on people culture to engage and nurture is crucial.

The Opportunity

We have a unique opportunity, and are looking for a driven and engaging people expert, who can support in designing a people strategy that will define and develop a strong people culture, as they embark on a significant and exciting, journey of growth.

There is already a people team in place, so this role is really around offering strategic input and guidance on how to prioritize work load in a brand that is growing at such pace.

This role can be fairly flexible in terms of time, It would likely work out at around 1 day per week for the next six months, but I think it depends on the individual and the assessment of work that is required.

The Candidate

You could be a People Director, with capacity to take on an additional consultant role, or perhaps a people director in between roles looking for a project where you can make a difference.

You should also:

  • Have a good track record of working at People Director level within a branded environment  
  • The ability to work at pace and at scale.
  • Possess great leadership and great people development skills
  • Be a strategic thinker with the capability to think outside the norm
  • Have an ability to build relationships with others
  • Display effective influencing skills
  • Demonstrate that you can understand and adapt to business objectives
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively and challenge appropriately with people at all levels
