 The Client

My client is a small, friendly, highly ambitious and capable business that’s achieved 50% year on year growth. They are a highly skilled and dedicated team, each contributing to a culture of customer care, empathy, respect, expertise, commercialism, credibility and drive.

The product is a labour management system offering productivity and operational improvement to a quickly growing number of clients across the hospitality sector. The team are all previous operators from the sector and their USP is really about understanding in great depth the clients that they work with.

The opportunity

Reporting into the Customer Services Director, you will have real accountability and ownership from day 1. This is the role today, but where can you take it in the future?

You’ll build long term relationships at all levels of an account (i.e. from the site manager and their teams, right up to Board level).

You will ensure ‘best in class’ account management through a comprehensive understanding of your clients business and aims, a consultative sales process, delivering on promises every time, and providing effective training to operators of the product in sites.

You have a proactive approach and will ensure that your customers are delighted, ALWAYS.

You’ll know your stuff, understanding the industry and what your competitors are up to.

The candidate

You will be educated to degree level, and have a minimum of 5 years relevant business experience and demonstrable achievement.

Account management experience is of course a huge advantage but attitude and aptitude are more important to my client.

Current knowledge of the hospitality sector is essential, ideally as an operator in an area management role.

You’ll be engaging and driven with the ability to think on your feet!

With a positive outlook, you’ll thrive under pressure and will have a high level of initiative and problem solving skills.

You’ll have excellent sales and negotiation skills and as such the ability to deliver compelling presentations.

Well organised, creative, hardworking and resourceful, you’ll love being on the go and ‘making things happen’.

Most importantly, you’ll a friendly, valuable member of the team, who can make a superior ‘real coffee’ (or be willing to learn, because this business runs on ‘real coffee’)

Details on potential package

Basic salary up to £50,000 (initially) with an uncapped bonus, (OTE £70,000) – car allowance, employee share scheme, (after qualifying period), pension, life assurance
