The Client

Our client is a market leading national leisure and hospitality business and a dynamic high performing multi-revenue stream  business.  The company has posted strong like for like sales results, has secure investment and an ambitious pipeline of future openings.

 

The Opportunity
We are looking for an interim HR Director for a 12 month assignment with an ideal start date of late April/early May. This is a HR Director position with influence and the business is receptive to new ways of working, innovative ideas and a fresh look at the people strategy.

This role is a commercial Board level HR Director role where you will form part of the executive leadership team. The four Board Director are closely aligned and all take accountability for performance of the business both operationally and financially.

As the leader of all things people, you will have autonomy for the HR team and their valued function in the business. The HRBP structure is closely aligned to the operations team and therefore has a harmonious relationship with the operation and a true gauge of the heartbeat of the business. The centralised recruitment function is a genuine support and the development and talent planning sits with the HR business partners.

A dynamic organisation, the CEO is always looking at ways to innovate and is open to investment if presented with a strong business case with well mapped spend and returns information. This is an autonomous role with a need for an HR specialist with high capacity and able to work at pace.

 

The Candidate
As an experienced HR executive, you must have experience in multi-faceted and multi-site roles, working closely with senior leadership teams to co-create the business strategy. You will ideally have experience of managing regional teams, enjoy working at pace and able to deliver strategy whilst remaining close the needs of a business.

Strong stakeholder manager skills are essential as well as the ability to engage with colleagues at all levels. The ideal candidate must have experience at operating at HR Director level either as an Interim specialist or a someone comfortable with a 12 month full-time assignment.
