This brand has hit the industry by storm and is already renowned for its exceptional quality food in an informal setting, this concept is certainly a market leader in its cuisine. With a number of successful restaurants already in operation, the company has confidence in it’s growth potential.

 

Culturally rich, there is a dynamic team in place who are focused on exceptional delivery, the business plan dictates the brand has national scalability and they are seeking an Operations Director to assist in this journey whilst keeping the essence of what makes the brand so amazing!

 

The Opportunity

We are looking for an Operations Director at this exciting stage of their evolution and someone who will form an integral part of the leadership team to assist with the growth of the business. A Board level role, the Operations Director will sit alongside the Finance Director and work shoulder to shoulder with the Founder to take the business to the next level.

 

We are looking for someone with the intellectual breadth and agility who has the capability to become the future Managing Director. As a result of the planned expansion, we are seeking a talented and highly motivated/motivational operator to lead the operations team and build on the success of the brand.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and implement a winning strategic vision and plan.
  • Lead the existing team to deliver beyond expectation, driving continual improvement in the quest to be the best every time.
  • You will be the beacon of light for the operations team, able to motivate, inspire and retain great people whilst building strong succession plans to support future growth.
  • You will be fully P&L accountable for the restaurants, working collaboratively across the teams to ensure sales, margin and EBITDA targets are exceeded and agreed milestones met.
  • Able to bring structure, systems and rigour to a rapidly growing environment, to lay the foundations for growth and future-proof the business.
  • Able to deliver results with an entrepreneurial mind set, you will be accountable for timely and accurate reporting.

  • The cultural fit is one of the most important elements to finding the right candidate. Must be a team player, have an inclusive and visible management style and lead from the front. Able to bring a high level of influence and experience but do with this humility and understanding of the existing business.
  • Detail orientated with a relentless focus on ensuring uncompromising standards and able to ensure procedures are in place to get the basics right in all areas all of the time.
  • A natural inspirer of people and a motivator.
  • Must be comfortable getting close to the business, able to adopt a ‘hand on’ approach and not reliant on the corporate cushion that he or she may have experienced in a previous position.
  • Equally able to be strategic, contribute to brand proposition and the future growth.
